    Meanwhile, in Europe.

    • DesmaX

You silly, the soundtrack should be region-free

      • karldeck

True, I bought the american collectors edition Ys: MoC and got the CD with it and it worked with my CD player.

        • ecoutercavalier

          What’s a CD player?

      • http://archaois.deviantart.com/ Brian E. Scheid

I’m talking about SMT4 not being out in Europe yet.

        • DesmaX

I know. I was just joking

    AWWW YEAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INSTA-BUY.

OST was a huge highlight of the game.

  • EdgeKun

ABOUT TIME! Been waiting for a soundtrack to even exist just so I could import it the second it was available. D: Meguro Someone really outdid him/herself with SMT4′s music.

    • DesmaX

      Meguro didn’t work on this

      • EdgeKun

No kidding? Who’s the composer we have to thank then?

        • EvE

did you even read the article?

          • EdgeKun

Apparently I completely glossed over that. Shame on me then. Usually I’m better about that kind of thing. =/

          • Ouch My Head Said Dionysus

Koduka is the new heir-apparent to SMT. What a G.

I need to think hard about whether to import it or not. The bgm fit well within the context of the game, but I’m not sure if I would listen to it on an everyday basis. I have a hard time recalling specific tracks.

It’s interesting that this is being released so long after the game came out in Japan. I wonder if there will be bonus tracks?

It certainly isn’t the kind of soundtrack you’d listen to if you’re trying to relax, but I do think a lot of the tracks for different areas in Tokyo are very unique and enjoyable even outside the game. Unfortunately, I’m not certain what their actual titles are, since everyone appears to use different names in their YouTube rips.

That said, I love the tracks that play in Ueno and Kasumigaseki. Not in the underground passages but the actual areas themselves that you explore. I also really like the Tokyo Battle theme and the Blasted Shinjuku (Law) theme.

      • ElAbuelo69

The Tokyo Overworld theme…is very relaxing though.

It’s the kind of soundtrack I’d listen to while I relax, especially this track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN94qTjXQic

Can’t forget about the remix of Arcade Street for the Street Pass menu! Ok, I’m done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azMyAzHbJ6A

Both of these are excellent, too. I also like the music that plays while you’re underground in Ueno. I don’t know how to find that song on Youtube, though.

          • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

            Maybe it’s one of these?

That guy seems to have a few tracks that other people haven’t uploaded.

Be glad I didnt show the clip where Beavis like eats a whole bottle of Xanax.

          • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

Wow. I remember playing the Beavis and Butthead games on PC back in the late 90s, but I never watched the show. My favourite was the one where you’re spitting on people from the rooftop at school.

        • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

Ohh, that’s the track that plays in the item shop, isn’t it? Yeah, I do like that one. And you’re right, it is one of the few that’s relaxing. I’d completely forgotten about it, since I hardly ever had any need to go into the item store.

          • Shane Guidaboni

Yeah, same. The only time I really went into the item shop was to maybe get some antidotes or to relax and listen to the music :P

    Finally. :P
