I have already sworn loyalty to fuuko, so sorry torri

  • Prinny Dood

Hey! Torri im gonna be blunt will you have my baby dood!

  • Guest

I don’t know, do I choose the one with Monokuma hair, or everyone else.
But I already decided to marry Danganronpa, so all the way to bed with the classmating.

  • AkiraScare

    (*_*) Kawaii

  • Firion Hope

I recognize that voice from somewhere but I can’t name it.. is it the person who does Elizabeth in Persona 3?

Either way she looks awesome :D

    • NeptuniasBeard

Doubt it. Elizabeth was Mitsuru, and she doesn’t sound at all like the girl in the trailer. If I had to guess, I would say that it’s possibly the chick who voiced Neptune. But that’s more for a lack of options on my part lol

  • KoRLumen

    So freaking cute! AGH

  • TheGioG

“I’m looking forward to classmating. Anytime is okay.”
D’aww, sure thing, sweet-cheeks. We’ll raise our own little legion of the cutest Monokuma cubs.

    • Arrngrim

      Well said!

    • カイ サトシ

      “class mating”
      its mating season ^_^

    • exrazer

I tohugt monokuma was a boss only?

  • Raw

Original VOs or GTFO. (probably Nintendo’s fault anyway)

    • Kaetsu

Ummmm Nintendo has nothing to do with this game. It’s Atlus doing the localization.

      • ShawnOtakuSomething

        tell em Jack

      • Raw

Nintendo of America probably enforces English Voiceovers for releases in the US. Sony did this for physical copies (for PS3). The only games that are allowed to have Japanese VOs only are releases on PSN. Riposte.

        • ShawnOtakuSomething

-_- all Atlus games that are localized are Dubbed only…

          • dark-kyon

i believe what atlus is covering his backs, they can get dual audio easy with this game, this game is made for spike chunshoft, his others games got dual audio, but they do not want what the westerns gamers begin to pledge for dual audio in the next persona games, the reverse importation scares too much at these guys.

          • Raw

Reverse import did happen with P4A, right? Such trivial matters.

          • dark-kyon

            region lock?

        • dark-kyon

so i what happen with yakuza games, agarest generation of war 2,the new gundam musou is jap. only.

        • Reiswindy

Xenoblade had dual audio. Same with Fire Emblem: Awakening.

        • D-Omen

I’m playing Senran Kagura Burst and Virtue’s Last Reward, both of which I have physical and with JP-dub only.

          • Raw

Times have changed then. Atlus hasn’t.

        • DivinePhoenix69

          Project X Zone?

    • NeptuniasBeard

Such ripping satire. You must study under Colbert!

    • CozyAndWarm

Atlus usually goes dub-only, this is normal. Atlus is localizing the game, not Nintendo. Why would Nintendo be involved with a game that’s also on the Vita? Plus Nintendo has been pretty keen about including Japanese VAs lately.

      • Raw

Include, but they won’t allow a Jap VO only. So companies are always forced to dub, resulting in shitty dubs. Maybe that has changed in the last year.

Atlus mostly brings good games, but fuck, won’t they give us the option to dual audio? I had to FMCB my PS2 in order to play UNDUBs of the Persona games.

        • CozyAndWarm

You’re not alone, Atlus has been pretty stubborn about not including the original voices. No one’s sure why, but their dubs are usually pretty bearable. Senran Kagura Burst’s localization shows that Nintendo policy has nothing to do with it.

          • Raw

Wasn’t Senran Kagura Burst released digital only? If so, they might follow the same guidelines Sony (used to?) follow for the PS3/PSP. NoA is really strict with content I would be amazed if they allowed it on physical copies.

Due to the nature of European releases, they are usually more lenient there.

          • PreyMantis

Really? Fire Emblem: Awakening, Wonderful 101 and their latest published game in the West called Bravely Default all have dual audios. So, I don’t know what you’re talking about Nintendo and strict content…

          • Rita Tong

Damn, took the examples right out of my mouth XD

I actually liked the dub better in Fire Emblem though, but that’s just me. Except Chrom (but that’s super bias because TOMOKAZU SUGITA *fangirl mode*)

          • Saphira

I’m not 100% sure about this- but from what I’ve read (and heard), adding the Japanese Audio would need licensing fees, so that would mean extra expenses for the production with it having Jap+Eng licensing. Also, it seems that they have good relations with the company/agency that provides them with voice talents… so yeah.

        • Kazekage Gaara

Atlus always provides top notch voice acting so GTFO!

        • dark-kyon

sorry guy,but psvita have several retail games japanese only how sorcesy saga, murasama rebirth, the uncoming akiba strip is for now jap only.

    • DivinePhoenix69

Well i have bad news for you then…

    • PreyMantis

Fire Emblem: Awakening, Wonderful 101 and Bravely Default all says hi.

  • Manny Being Manny

Whos brilliant idea was it to localize a total anime game and make it dub only?

    • Kazekage Gaara

Good ol’ Atlus of the USA :3

    • Kaetsu

Well considering Atlus is localizing the game nobody should have expected dual audio. Although considering it’s Atlus doing the localization you should expect a good dub.

    • Hound

Who would be foolish enough to localize an anime game without English voice work whilst forgetting that characters talk in battle and during attacks?

      • Cerzel

Aksys. Fate/EXTRA was Japanese audio only and had entire conversations in boss battles that went untranslated.

Of course, the better option would be for them to address that by adding subtitles, not by forcing a shitty dub on us and not giving us an option on what audio to use.

        • Arthur Sataine

I’ll take subpar dubs over high pitched, whiny, Japanese female voices any day.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

    I love the Dub :3

  • I love her voice. It fits her character perfectly to me =)

    • Arrngrim

Agreed, excellent choice for her. I hope all of the VA is as well done for the game. Regardless, pretty excited about this localization!

  • Kazekage Gaara

Mah main Waifu in this game :3 She reminds me of Simon Blackquill from Ace Attorney 5!

    • MrTyrant

      Is Simon waifu material too?

      • Kazekage Gaara

        Sadly no :(

  • Zoozbuh

Sounds a bit like Monica Rial! I’m probably wrong though, since she rarely does videogame work. (I’m sure 90% of the commenters on here would have to google her since “EWW ENGLISH DUB GTFO”… sigh)

  • harmonyworld

okay, so her voice doesn’t annoy me, so that is a perk.
sometimes I would rather choose english over japanese just so the voices don’t annoy me.
I actually quite like her voice and seems like a sweet and kind character.
Also out of all the girls, she looked the most interesting next to the tall blond one.

  • notentirelythere

This is an odd character video to start out with. Like, she has a peculiar design compared to the rest of the cast, and she’s meant to give off an earnest oddball vibe, right? How would someone just casually checking this out get that instead of leading to a reasonable conclusion of bad voice acting? *EO: Untold teaser flashbacks*

    • Muffum

I’m pretty sure Atlus said that they started with her specifically because she won a poll about which heroine people wanted to learn more about.

      • karldeck

And because they want to know if she is related to Monokuma with that hair.

  • DivinePhoenix69

I admit i was rather iffy about this title at first but the more gameplay videos i watch the more i’m interested in picking this up. Plus the dub seems pretty great so far(then again it’s Atlus so a great dub is to be expected lol).

  • Kornelious

    …..I’m In Love <3

  • CleruTesh

Seriously, this is my most anticipated title for 2014.

  • Mirai

    Monokuma has returned! Upupupu!

  • Nitraion

I wonder she is monokuma daughter or something…

  • benhofb

AAH I am so excited for this game aaah. April cannot come soon enough!

  • Jelly

Couldn’t help pausing the video after listened to the voice..Sorry Atlus. I just can’t =,(

  • Alestaos

Has this or is this being released in EU? If not ill import for my vita ;)

    • Wodki

      Digital Only Q2 2014

      • Alestaos

Thanks. I guess i need to import tho i hope any dlc would still work fine ^^

  • Crap…I like her. XD

  • What the, is this a Monokuma fangirl

  • Jettythesunfish

Her voice sounds familiar.,.but I’m not really sure…

  • artemisthemp

Torri is gonna be my girl :)

  • Torri somehow remind me of BRS which is a good thing =)

  • Ric Vazquez

I’m probably going to go with either Chloe , Feene or Narika., cause PLOT XD

  • Vash bane

o.O did she say class mating? lol I think i’m hearing this wrong

  • Alex Webber

Wow so monokuma as a human is this cute adorable female. Now imagine if she was the big bad of Conception 2!
