After the horror of struggling for three hours with Squeenix’s online shop to get my hands on Drakengard 3’s CE, I wouldn’t struggle with this again even if I was saving 30 bucks.

    • What happened exactly?

      • Freud_Hater

It wouldn’t accept my address! I live in Québec, Canada, so I first input the street’s name as its French equivalent (Thinking that they were palliated for such an event) but it loops me back to the beginning of my account’s creation. So okay, I input my address in english, but it loops me back to the start again! And I never got a message stating what exactly the problem was, it just looped back. So after looking around for way too long, it finally registered my actual address but I still don’t really know what I did right the 36th time around :/

Sometimes the SE store is…. Faulty to put it mildly.
On a few occasions I had make whole new email accounts simply because the store wasn’t capable of registering its past costumers account. Three emails I gave that I normally use after a week of them not being able to “recal” my accounts I had to make a new one…. Most irritating.

        • Damn. Sorry that happened. I can see how that would be frustrating =(. They really need to fix their online store.

    • Yan Zhao

SE’s online store is ludicrous I agree. The first time, paypal didnt even work so I had to use credit card. The second time they dont even acknowledge my account as being created and account recovery says it dont exist so I have to make a new account each time I wanna buy something.

This is retarded lol. Thank god Im done after Drakengard 3 CE.

      • Tom

Not to mention Europeans can’t purchase Drakengard 3 from SE store. How will I get a physical copy of Drakengard 3 then? I won’t go digital…

        • Freud_Hater

You could always use a Third Party? I hear some websites are still selling copies that include some of the pre-order bonuses, so you could try those out ‘-‘

          • Tom

I hope eBay will have a couple not too expensive copies. Or I could buy it from play-asia (the US version) but that’s waaay too expensive right now.

        • revenent hell

I don’t even grasp why they wont ship to Europe….. for what they charge for shipping one would think my games are being sent to Pakistan.

    • revenent hell

      They are horrendous!!!!!
Over the holidays someone tried to go on a shopping spree with my card numbers so I had to cancel it. When I contacted them over the issue and tried to get them to change the card that would be charged (since it was a pre order) not only did it take them about a week to contact me back but they also informed me my request was “just not possible” so I had to cancel my pre order and reorder it….

Hell, I don’t even know why they charge so damn much for shipping….. One would think if places like Xseed and Nisa don’t charge for shipping (for over a twenty dollar order) Squeenix could do it to.

My Drakengard LE came out to an even 100$ thanks to the shipping cost. How the hell does something so small get charged 20$ in shipping? And its not even same day or three day shipping its standard whenever the hell the USPS gets it to me shipping…..

If SE gave even a nominal shit for its costumers it would change companies…….But they don’t.

  • Akimitsu

I don’t understand the thought process of putting games that are clearly going to be out of stock on sale. Also, doesn’t Square Enix’s store use Digital River as their shipping company, which has a pretty horrible reputation?

  • César H. Sandoval

So… I could buy the entire FFXIII trilogy for a fine and cheap price. should I dare?

    • eilegz

do it its the best rpg of last gen….

      • DaiRaiOh

        But it really wasn’t

        • César H. Sandoval

is it still good enough if you get the full trilogy for “cheap as hell” price?

          • DaiRaiOh

I’d honestly say just get Lightning Returns with some other games. Don’t need to know the past games at all as the story in Returns was just awful and could honestly be skipped through with no actual loss to game quality, but the gameplay was the best in the trilogy and actually worth the pricetag alone.

          • Kaetsu

I’d disagree. I thought that 13 and 13-2 were way better than Lightning Returns. Honestly they only thing I enjoyed about LR was the combat system.

          • DaiRaiOh

I thought both those games were just all-around barely decent. Combat system was good for both, but not particularly challenging in anyway and the story of both weren’t great (Though 13 was better than the sequels for it although that’s not hard to do). One just also needs to take in mind that getting it from the square enix store is a giant rip-off for the first two as one could just get them used for much cheaper at gamestop as both games are really low priced last time I checked.

    • Herok♞

I would, I liked them all

    • Arcana Drill

Some love it, some hate it, play it and discover which group you’re in. Like you said, they are super cheap.

    • revenent hell

The FF XIII trilogy all had major downs to me but XIII-2 I found more fun than XIII (XIII-2 you could use “monsters” and frankly I adore that in any game) and Lightning returns I liked the battle system more than the other two.
The stories for all three are and where remarkably bad to me.

  • Monterossa

I’m playing Tactics Ogre right now. bought it for 20 bucks and it more than worth every penny.

  • DragKudo

12 dollars for an old playstation game?! GTFO Square! 12 plus $7 shipping

  • Alexandra Cordes

Wellp… It sure would have been nice if this sale happened last week when I actually bought FF Tactics and Tactics Ogre.

  • Alexandra Cordes

Also… what the biscuit? They have Drakengard but not Drakengard 2?
I’d re-buy the first one, but… unless they release a version that doesn’t censor the game into oblivion I’m just going to import it…

    • I assume it’s because Ubisoft still has the rights to 2? But yeah, that is frustrating.

  • Lazulis

Wait, but wouldn’t Digital River have to ship this? Nuh uh. Not worth. The Drakengard standard edition came out to like 63 bucks (even if it cost 40) because of tax and shipping. Digital River’s goddamn shipping bs…

  • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

Too bad, when I read the headline I was hoping for PSN price cuts~.

  • Rentekabond

I hope this discount goes on PSN Soon (And better, of course), cause I’ve been itching to rebuy the game for my vita since I don’t play my psp anymore and I never beat it in the first place.

  • GaiunxWolfenX

YEAH! they put a discount on a game they did not have, and the people who sells it in amazon are selling it for more than that price… wait what? is squenix getting tricked? or is it… me? http://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Hearts-Dream-Distance-nintendo-3ds/dp/B006OI3CTS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1395456762&sr=8-4&keywords=kingdom+hearts
And yes i can’t buy from anywhere not amazon because of the country am from, its a long boring story, its just to avoid the just buy from target, sadly i cant T.T

  • Do they ever restock the blasted store?

Drakengard and some other titles I want have been sold out since Christmas and while I’m glad the titles made sales even now, why doesn’t SE put them back in stock? @[email protected]
