i downloaded it but everytime i tried to play some message apears says *unable to check*

    • Syde Tokai

I’m redownloading to see if that helps will check-in when it’s done.

    • There is a brand new client you have to download from the Playstation Store, and then that one will work. You can delete the old Beta client.

Yeah that annoyed me, why do I have download 11gb again, ugg. Its only 1 hour, but annpying when I already had other beta installed.

        • Dexward

The first beta is PS4-only client. That’s why any characters created that time was deleted. This second beta is the same client as the PC and PS3 versions. That’s why any characters created is kept upon the game’s release next week.

        • Yeah was kind of annoying at first, but at least it’s all installed and works really nicely on the system now lol =)

  • rurifan

I thought the second beta phase was only open to people who bought it even on PS4.

I will check though. I want to see if they fixed the terrible PS4 frame rate before I consider buying the final game!

    • Orpheus

Were there any issues with the frame rate in the first PS4 beta?

      • rurifan

My experience on PS4 had it running around 30fps and chugging below in large areas. Only place I ever saw 60fps was wedged between two big rocks. :)

But some people claim it ran at 60fps “frequently” for them on PS4, so I don’t know how to explain that.

        • Wesley Kenneth Houpt Mattingly

It felt all over the place to me. But where it counts, dumgeons, a solid 60 all day. You spend mostmof the game in dungeons, sonit running smooth there is most important. My PC is a beast, and at max and 16 x anisotropic, I can dip below 30 occasionally on the open world or huge FATEs, but it doesnt distract from gameplay. 30 fps is almost indistinguishable from 60 fps for the majority of people.

          • rurifan

30fps “amost indistinguishable” from 60fps? Now I certainly don’t trust anything you have to say about the game’s frame rate. :|

“30 fps is almost indistinguishable from 60 fps >>>for the majority of people<<<."
Be it your case or not, this is true. Hell, get rid of the "almost" and it'll still be true.

          • The Watcher

            sigh* smh

  • ShadowJetX

I’m playing it right now, and its proving kind of lame right now because I can’t skip the opening movie.

    • Wesley Kenneth Houpt Mattingly

You can never skip the opening whenever you are on a new device with your account.

  • Lucky you guys… I don’t have my PS4 yet. Enjoy!
