But they already have the original SoulCalibur on mobile.

I have a feeling this will be a card game, similar to Tekken Card Tournament.

  • If it’s anything like Infinity Blade, I’ll give it a shot. Otherwise, I doubt it’ll be worth my time.

Well. Im losing all faith in SC. 5 and its crappy online servers, a single player f2p and now this? Might as well just get SC2 HD and live and let live.

Yay just what the world needed another established franchise jumping in the mobile ring.

I just hope they don’t use this to say: well if this does well we will release the console title or we are just doing this so we can make enough money to advance the series. If they say that DON’T fall for it, the series is dead just like Darkstalkers just be happy with the old games.

Sorry guys, Soul Calibur is officially stuck in gaming limbo. =<

Used to be one of my favorite game series-es.
All we can do now is pray for it to break that vicious cycle in hopes that one day we will get an actual, decent game for a major console…

    If only…

Nothing says immersion like “Tap tap tap the touchscreen, YOU WIN!!!”. Games today are moving forward thanks to smartphones.

bet it is going to be a card collection pay2win game… /cry
