At their Global Gamer’s Day event, Bandai Namco announced a Tenkai Knights game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game allows you to customize and build your own Tenkai Knight using over 100 different parts, and do battle against enemies.

Tenkai Knights is a hack-and-slash game with both single and multiplayer modes. Multiplayer supports up to 4 players in Versus mode over the Internet, while up to 2 players can play co-op mode, which features missions from the first season of the animated series.

Tenkai Knights is slated for release this Fall.

    MAAAAANNNN!!!!
    WHY??!!!
if tenkai knights which has still no fanbase can be localized, where’s Re:Digitize Decode??!!

    AAAAAAAAAA
    WHHYYYY??!!

    • ReidHershel

Eh, some of the people who animate TK are American/Canadian sooooo…..

      • Renaldi Saputra

        it doesn’t matter I think

    • JonathanisPrimus

The Tenkai Knights anime actually airs on a channel people watch in the US.

      • Renaldi Saputra

        so is Digimon Xros Wars/Fusion

        • JonathanisPrimus

No, which is why I made the point I did.

          • Renaldi Saputra

            what do u mean?
xros wars wasn’t watchable in the west?

          • Christopher Nunes

I know Digmon Xros Wars, called Digimon Fusion, has aired in the West and it’s on the Nicktoons channel.

Digimon Fusion finally came to the West Fall 2013, last September I believe.

          • Renaldi Saputra

that’s what I said, isn’t fusion watchable in the west?
I know it isn’t consistent, always changing program, don’t know why..

Saban handled it badly it seems

          • JonathanisPrimus

It’s on obscure TV channels in the US.

          • Renaldi Saputra

yeah, they’re rather inconsistent of on what program the series will be…
but it’s still airing, as the official facebook page said

            dammit sabanshit

          • Christopher Nunes

Sorry, it seemed like you thought it didn’t air in the US. My bad.

And I do not like some of the edits they did to Digimon Fusion, though I only saw a bit of the Japanese episodes. I saw no reason to edit out the Lillymon flirt scene in the second episode. They could’ve changed that up a bit instead of removing it all together.

And the dumb down puns and such, I know Saban is making it kid-friendly but there’s some things just too stupid to use. But I still love Digimon, though I wished he kept it closer to the Japanese script but I do plan today’s media.

Every parent and adult get so uptight on cartoon/anime and will complain or boycott the show if it’s “too violent” or “too inappropriate” for kids to show. I miss the 80′s and 90′s show where people were more lenient to what shows were on.

          • Renaldi Saputra

            the worst is
            AUGUMON
            PATTAMON
            METALGURURUMON
            SLUSHANGEMON
            BEASTMON
            LUCEMON WILD MODE

          • Christopher Nunes

Miss spells of Digimon names in the US season of Digimon Fusion?

          • Renaldi Saputra

            yeah, also bad name changing
            not cool unlike the japanese
            example: fiery fastball

          • Ferrick

huh? Digimon xross wars aired in Nickelodeon

          • JonathanisPrimus

Two or three episodes aired on Nickelodeon, and then it got shoved off to Nicktoons. Very few people watch Nicktoons.

          • Renaldi Saputra

            it got to vortex

          • JonathanisPrimus

More people watch that than Nicktoons, but it’s still not many people. The problem for modern Digimon games is that they’re not tie-ins to the anime.

          • Renaldi Saputra

it’s just like back on 1999-2003
digimon adventure, adventure 02, and tamers aired
DMW 1 got localized in US and EU when adventure aired, it sold very well.. then when 02 was airing, they brought DMW 2, sold quite well…
then when tamers aired, they brought DMW 3…
when frontier ended in US, 1 year after it, they got DMW X a.k.a. DMW 4, sold quite well…

it doesn’t need to be tie-ins with the anime

          • Audie Bakerson

            “Very few people watch Nicktoons.”

So much for any hope of getting Baku Boost then…

          • Renaldi Saputra

            beyblade u mean?
well, it’s strange that bunch of ppl are still following beyblade even though it got low rating and usually being bashed by the old fans

          • Audie Bakerson

            Danball Senki (Little Battlers eXperience).

I’ve played Boost and its really fun, but then again I’m a complete sucker for tiny robots.

          • Renaldi Saputra

            oh that level5

is danball senki even got popularized in US?

          • Audie Bakerson

The anime dub is airing on Nicktoons later in this year (hence why I mentioned in in response to someone saying anime airing on Nicktoons wouldn’t mean a game is also coming over). I assume the game is coming with it (and will have westernized names even though they live in “Tokio”, a group of bancho are the first real boss, the bad guy tries to assassinate the prime minister, and changing his position would make massive plot holes in the motivation, and has modeled his mansion after a Japanese castle, complete with a a gym that has VERY Japanese weapons and armor on display…).

          • Renaldi Saputra

I heard LBX is very niche in the west, comparing to another similar theme like medarot

          • Audie Bakerson

Series hasn’t been released yet at all in the west yet, so that’s no surprise…

          • Renaldi Saputra

but at least many ppl know that the anime is airing on Japan and do streaming…

also is kinda underrated in some anime pages

          • Audie Bakerson

I’ve only played the game (it’s for kids, so it doesn’t require a high proficiency), no idea about the anime.

          • Renaldi Saputra

            it’s possible…
yep, no built fanbase in the west, still fresh unlike digimon and pokemon if airing new anime in Japan

          • Audie Bakerson

I’m pretty sure it IS coming because Bamco is bringing over the merch and the anime is coming, it was just a joke (that you appear to have missed).

          • Renaldi Saputra

            I see
so they plan on bringing moar mechas to the west for kids

          • Gemini Saga Sama

As your Gotcha force avatar would show.
……i’d kill for another gotcha force game, one of my favorite games.

  • ZnTxn

I love Custom Robo and the Little Brawlers series, and this definitely caught my attention. Thank you Namco!

    • Renaldi Saputra

      Danball Senki you mean?

      • ZnTxn

Yeah, that. A mistake from my part.

        • Renaldi Saputra

oh Little Battlers eXperience or LBX

    • Kaetsu

I was thinking about Custom Robo too! I haven’t seen this show before but I hope the game ends up being good because we haven’t really had a game like this since Custom Robo Arena.
