    Pretty cool I’d say.

  • TheGreenHobo

    Show Ryu, Ken.

  • Kroz

    not bad not bad

  • Masa

For such a small budget this is amazing.

  • Altin

Cant wait to see stupid sexy Ken in action! x3

  • This looks pretty good. Better than than anything Hollywood would make.

Why is it that Hollywood can’t make something like this?

      • They usually trash it with some modern-day visions or remove/ alter things in ways that weren’t necessary.

Dragonball Evolution, The Last Airbender (which is a cartoon, not anime but same rule applies), The Legend of Chun Li, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat 2, Alone in the Dark, Doom, Silent Hill, RESIDENT FKN EVIL…

Hollywood just screws up game/anime/cartoon adaptations, for the most part.

Don’t get me wrong, I mean you have to take a concept of a video game/TV show that caters to a certain audience, and then blow it up while making it accessible to newcomers and a broader audience while still keeping faithful to the original idea without going too campy and ridiculous. That ain’t easy at all.

But that’s just it– I’d rather not see that at all than see a half assed cash grab on popularity.

the first SF movie was not Chun Li, but Street Fighter the Movie with Raul Julias as M.Bison. it was so bad Julias die of a heart attack short after. God rest his soul he was a great guy. Now you want to read about mest up, then my friend look up at the Akira movie Hollywood is making. Be warned is so hideous that I will not recomended to those of weak stomach.

          • I said that. “The Legend of Chun Li, the first SF film, Mortal Kombat 2…”

I meant “the first SF film” as its own movie, the one with JCVD. And yeah, Julia did right by Bison, and it was a great last role for him as he did it for his children.

But I’ll edit it to be clearer.

        • Ric Vazquez

          They westernized them too much.

          • This is true, and even when they adapt original Western projects, they usually fail to capture what got it such appeal.

      • Hector Velar

because like most of the video game companies Hollywood also has a big voiced msrketting team that looks at numbers and without having knowled of the context will dictate what will make money and that is why they been screwing up every videogame or japanimation to real live movie. they listen to money rather than the fans because they know that the fans will throw money at it that it does not matter how bad it is. The real problem here is that arr we that dumb? evidently we are because we keep throwing money supporting them. So really is not them the problem why they got lazy and greedy, the problem are the fans who do not educate themselves or lack the will to say “you know that really looks crapy im not going to waste my purchasing power on it”.
