It’s things like this that make me consider buying a Wii U here…

  • John Diamond

there should be a gritty legend of zelda remake, where epona is a motorcycle, link is a gangster, and hyrule is just detroit

    • Alexander Marquis Starkey

      *is from Detroit* No.

    • PreyMantis

And they use guns in a gray and brown world…

    • KoRLumen

    • God

      It’s called No More Heroes.

      • OtakuSheppug

        God, stop being so funny!

  • D-Omen

I won’t be convinced this isn’t Hylia’s Hero until the game comes out. He looks too similar (scarf and shoulder-pad) to be a coincidence.

    • David García Abril

Actually, in the manga prequel, Hylia’s Hero Link wears a cape, not a scarf.

      Still, it’s pretty damn close…

      • DragKudo

I thouhgt in skyward sword it said that Hylia was the original wielder of the skyward sword she was a god.. That the hero didn’t exist yet.

        • Steven Higgins

They said something about Hylia having a “Chosen Hero” That’s what the sky-diving scenario in the beginning was a reenactment of.

          • DragKudo

The chosen hero was the SS link that went back in time though. Which took place after Hylia became human. Hylia didn’t need a hero because she was the one slash demons in half.

    • NintendoPSXTheSecond

The manga is non-canon anyways. It always is.

      • Ixbran

The manga comes with the Hyrule Historia, in the back of the book. Its considered canon by fans due to the fact its included in the Timeline as taking place before SS.

        • NintendoPSXTheSecond

So according to that logic, Vaati’s made up form in the Minish Cap manga is canon, Link raising Volvagia and having to slay her is canon as well as Kafei joining Link on a quest to save the world in Majora’s Mask is canon too?
The manga has and always is non-canon.

          • Ixbran

I’m just saying what everyone else has been saying. Most of the times LoZ Manga’s are tied too a game. The specific one everyone’s talking about, the one in Hyrule Historea, isn’t based off a game but is actually a prequel story to Skyward Sword.

its not a manga based off a game, its a manga that takes place as its own stand alone story before Skyward Sword. and again, its in the Hyrule Historia timeline, making it cannon.

          • Time Sage

Or more simply, it wasn’t written as a retelling, it was an untold story written to help set the stage for Skyward Sword, not replace it.

  • KazukiNanbu

i think a saw Impa over there

    • David García Abril

      Yeap. That’s definitely her.

Maybe she will be a playable character? That would make a lot of sense. She always looks so badass in her Sheikah warrior depictions. It’s time for her to ACT like one (we only got a glimpse in “Skyward Sword”)

  • Thelastgunstar

If they confirm other playable characters, this game may force my hand and I may end up buying a Wii U. Until then, I can’t justify a Warriors game that only has one character…

    • Stephen Mc Devitt

That’s like if Dynasty Warriors 9 only has Zhao Yun as the only playable character.

  • Jason Ryer

So holiday 2014 nice my friend’s been waiting on this.

  • Looks like Impa will be playable.

  • landlock

Hopefully it’s this year in the west. My WiiU is desperate for a new game.

  • David García Abril

Let’s hope we get a better scan soon.

I’m looking forward to translate the story part. :)

  • Kornelious

Huh. It looks like this will be connected to Skyward Sword, Awesome :)
Come on Nintendo announce a release date for the US! :D

  • fairysun

I still think this is a bad mistake. Legend of Zelda do not have as many fighter characters as you want to make a Warriors game. We have limited choices: Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Sheik, Tetra, Ganondorf, Twinrova, Vaati.
But then again Koei might pull DW and put ordinary villager(Lon Lon) as fighters. They did the same in Dynasty Warriors.

    • Thatguy

Or… they can create some characters for this game.
Some people translated stuff and says, that there is new antagonist *Witch Shia*.

    • landlock

I want to play the game as Tingle.

      • Morningstar

Is this just for the trolling value?

    • Fainaru Luna

Even so, it would still be good to see what comes of this.
If they dont have enough characters to play as, they can always shift
there focus to the gameplay and try innovate and evolve the warriors style to some kind of level.

    • 3PointDecoupage

I hope the bearded woman from kakiriko village in ocarina is in it.
But Im thinking their going to use Link with different items instead of a huge roster.

    • J_Joestar

All we need is a viable Lu Bu analogue.

  • D. Collins

They’ve gotta create some new characters for this

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

Hmm Could be this be the great Triforce war in the timeline?

  • Scrooge_McDuck

Whoa, this is really the prettiest Link yet.

  • MagiusNecros

Apparently they are using a customized SS Impa design. The new villain characters seem to be an Evil Witch called Shia accompanied with 2 lackies. The Scorching Berserker Varuga and the Magician of Darkness Wizuro. Can’t wait to learn more.
