PlayStation Plus To Offer 2 Games Per Platform Every Month

Recommended Videos

Sony have made a change to PlayStation Plus, the company announced today. The service will now offer 2 games per-month for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Every game will be made available on the first Tuesday of the month and will remain free to download until the first Tuesday of the following month, making it easier to keep track of how long something will remain free. That’s the upside.

The downside is that games that have had a nice long run in the Instant Game Collection are being phased out in the coming weeks, so if you want to grab them, you’ll need to do so quickly.

Sony point out that you don’t need to download a game to your hard drive or memory card to gain the entitlement to play it. You can simply check it out from your cart in the web store. Once it says “Purchased,” that game will be available to you for as long as you’re as PS Plus subscriber.

Here’s the PS Plus line-up for North America in June:

  • Trine 2: The Complete Story (PS4)
  • Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate (PS4)
  • NBA 2K14 (PS3)
  • Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3)
  • Terraria (PSV)
  • Mutant Mudds Deluxe (PSV)

And here’s the line-up for Europe in June:

  • Trine 2: The Complete Story (PS4)
  • Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate (Cross Buy)
  • NBA 2K14 (PS3)
  • Lone Survivor (Director’s Cut) (Cross Buy)
  • Dragon’s Crown (PSV)
  • Surge Deluxe (PSV)
