Team Ninja Teasing Something Tengu Related For Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

Dead or Alive developer Team Ninja recently posted an odd tweet to their Twitter feed. The tweet, which you can see below, uses the hashtag “#DOA5UA” (Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade) and appears to be an image of the Tengu character.

If you look closer, though, the Tengu face appears to mask being worn by a character with purple hair, leading to speculation that this could be a new costume for Ayane, or perhaps a new variant of the Ayane character that is somehow based on Tengu.

Team Ninja have already confirmed in the past that Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will indeed be getting more downloadable content, so seeing another new character added to the game is entirely possible.
