    “I didn’t thought”?
It needs a few improvements on that English.

  • Spirit Macardi

This game looks like it could easily be run on the PS3, yet it’s only for the “next gen” consoles? Can’t say I really understand that decision.

Well, at least it’s for PC too.

    • Luckeh

Hopefully it doesn’t cost a full $60, or the finished game looks better

    • Brimfyre

Same reason I bet that new Grasshopper game is PS4 only, smaller audience, desperate for games will buy anything that comes out for the system as opposed to being overwhelmed with games that have higher budgets and bigger fanbases.

    • Daniel Jeanbaptiste

Wii U, PS4 and Xbone are Current Gen not next-gen.

      • Spirit Macardi

It says “next-gen” in the article. I’m simply going by what they said.

And the Wii U is sadly lacking from the list of consoles this will be for.

        • Daniel Jeanbaptiste

Doesn’t matter if it lacking power. It a 8th generation Home Console whether you like it or not.

          • Spirit Macardi

I wasn’t saying what I like (I love the Wii U and believe it SHOULD be held up alongside the PS4 and Xbone), I was merely pointing out things as they are in this article.

            You get me now?

        • Suicunesol

Which is suspicious because the Kickstarter last year received enough funding for a Wii U version, which was confirmed by numerous news websites, Siliconera included.

That the Anima Kickstarter page no longer lists Wii U and no money has been refunded is highly suspect. I see no news anywhere that the Wii U version has been dropped.

        • rurifan

          They said next-gen. ;)

          • Daniel Jeanbaptiste

Guess they mean Next Nintendo system, PS5 and Xbox Two

        • mikebrand83

“And the Wii U is sadly lacking from the list of consoles this will be for.”

Ehhh… Bottom of the Extended Campaign KS page:
“In which platforms will it be released?
Windows, Mac, and LINUX. We are also projecting a nextgen console release, including *WiiU*, XboxOne and PS4.”

    • darke

The PS3/360 may run it, but the issue is that in comparison to the PC-like XB1/PS4 systems they’re much harder to program for. So even though there’s a larger number of potential sales, the game will be out quicker by not targeting them. (There’s also issues about technical expertise in developing/optimising for these systems may require the hiring of a programmer specialising in them and so forth.)

  • In development for current-gen consoles, not next-gen consoles.

  • Mir Teiwaz

It looks interesting enough for a concept. I’m curious to see what else they add to it. I’m already getting a Grimoire Weiss feeling from Ergo.

  • Demeanor

Looks pretty nice, music too, a bit of a DmC feel.
Tho I’m absolutely crazy about mage characters, I’m not too fond of “spammy magic”, if mahou is weak enough to require spamming then it’d be easier to take up a sword… essentially the difference between Diablo 3 magic and Baldur’s Gate II magic. I hope this game allows us to conjure some insane wipe-everything-from-the-face-of-the-earth spells.

The question is….will the game be funded in time ? Even it does, the game will be incomplete if they can’t reach all the stretch goal.

  • new_tradition

At a glance, I’m interested, but I really wanna play this on PS4 instead of PC.

Checked out the kickstarter page, and I noticed that the stretch goals for game platforms is pretty far down. While there are stretch goals to make the actual game better, there seems to be more priority for physical goods to send to backers than a PS4/Xbone/Wii U version.

EDIT: Interesting, I looked at the Q&A at the bottom, and they said the game can be supported between the resolutions of 640×420 to 2560×1600. Suddenly I want a Vita version xD

Only 15,000 to fund a game with third-person 3D graphics?

I imagine that would cost a few million to produce.

    • doubleO7

For an indie game? lol, that’d be a crazy high budget.

But $15,000 is surprisingly low. I’ve seen a few other 3D indie projects that were closer to the $100,000 range.

    • Diego Almeida

It’s £15.000 (like $ 25121). And it’s the SECOND kickstarted for this game (a extension).

    • mikebrand83

The £15k (~$25k US) base goal is just for the extended campaign. The original campaign raised $110k.

  • Guilherme Matheus Silva

Hum… I liked that battle song… Fast paced for the battle, melancholic for the surrounding…

  • Ni ~Algidus~

i still think that the battle movements should be a little faster

  • Kornelious

Oh? What is this game? It looks pretty good…and it’s for PS4!? Heck yeah I’ll back that!….If I had enough money :(

  • DanielGearSolid

Only thing I didn’t like was her weird running animation

  • Heropon

Nothing Special from the trailer . Look lie this game try to copy ideas from Nier

  • MrJechgo

“You can find more details on the game here.”
and you can find more details on the artist who made the character designs for the game here:

No seriously, give this guy’s gallery a look, it’s worth it ^o^

  • KoRLumen

The first little bit reminded me of Shakugan no Shana haha.

  • Ephidiel

    gameplay looks weird ._.
the walking of the girl looks so off.
    enemies seem so passive

  • Raltrios

Not terribly impressive. So many grammar mistakes and, yeah, the voice of the MC wasn’t very into it. Work in progress, though.

  • Mind0105A

    Looks fun.

  • Randgriz

Looks very X blades to me.

  • Aristides

This looks pretty amazing :P Kinda looks like Folklore but faster and more action oriented. I cant help but wonder if this game will ever get a physical release.

  • Ric Vazquez

    Looks promising.

  • WhyWai

wow… this is indie? definitely put it in my radar

  • Vash bane

hm so the shirtless guy is the book?
