I leik Four because of reasons (*´艸`* )

    • Brandonmkii

      Four is best utatai

  • MaximDualBlade

It’s like a whole new game

  • Sapitntapit

Damn, I really wanna play these but that’s a lot.
I could get them or get Monster Monpiece…hmmm

  • Oh man, they got those out FAST.

On the trophies, it’s actually One that is missing a trophy set. Don’t really understand why they did that.

Each DLC chapter’s trophy set works like this:
1 trophy per story segment (4 segments total)
1 trophy for reaching level 10 (DLC chapter character is self contained, starts at one, no weapon select, just levels up).

They were probably planning on releasing One’s DLC as Collector’s Edition-only content when they first thought about it. So, pretty much you would need to have bought the Limited Collector’s Edition to get 100% for this game. It didn’t make sense.

This reflects clearly on this DLCs releases right now. You can’t get One’s DLC individually, you have to get the bundle in order to play it. That way, there is some sense of exclusivity for the people who pre-ordered and, at the same time, there is no need to get it if you want to go for the 100%

      It all balances out.

      • Initially I was going to say that that didn’t make any sense since the JPN release was where this all started…

… but then I remembered that even on day one with the game following import all the trophies had English localization so that might be the case actually.

I was so confused when I first got the DLC too, like “why aren’t I getting any trophies?!”

        • Xed51

there aren’t any trophies in the japanese one dlc as well. I guess it just happened that way.
Also the european version came with the trophies for all dlcs pre-installed

          • vault2049

The NA version had all DLC trophies pre-installed as well.

    • SoundMatch

OMG ITS YOU! Thanks so much for subbing those DLCs a while back!

    • Aoshi00

I know, it’s really weird they singled One out, she’s the only one that didn’t have trophies. I played all the other sister DLCs on the Jpn ver before, but didn’t play One’s until now because I was going to get it free w/ the US LE. I want to play all these in Eng again too, but the bundle’s not saving me anything since I alrdy have One, and buying the other 5 cost the same $30.. maybe I would just wait they are on sale at one point since I alrdy bought the Jpn DLCs at full price (before the bundle came out), except One and Two was free.

The contents are a mixed bag, but the journals unlocked as you level up are interesting and shed the much needed background on the intoners, w/ One and Two being most connected to the main story. The others are similar to the novellas somewhat (Four’s journals were the best lol).

So the Jpn audio patch only applies to the main game but not the DLC huh. All of these are quite short, perhaps an hour each if you play thru them twice (to reach level 10). I liked them but can’t help but feel they should be part of the game, or at least cheaper. Because w/o the novella and these DLCs, the story felt very barebone and didn’t feel complete. of course the extra dialogue was good and so was the tim burton-esque fairy tale illustration. Muramama’s DLC for $4.99 felt more beefy though.. still I like the DLCs for both games, but a bit greedy here, and d/ling them all takes another 3Gb of HDD space, so would rather have on disc..

  • Kotori Itsuka

I hope this comes in eu too soon. and a update which fixes the japanese voices…

    • DizzyGear

Im so glad i imported the US retail version since Square Enix Europe insists on rubbbing more and more salt in the wounds of European Drakengard fans.

      • Kotori Itsuka

I feel like I could cry every time I go to the ps store and I see “Drakengard 3 japanese voices”

    • AKA Takumix

What’s the problem with JP voices in EU version ?

      • DizzyGear

        They simply dont work.

        • British_Otaku

As in, audio issues all over the place when selected or the game defaults to English VAs (a common complaint for Fire Emblem Awakening and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 1) every time you restart.

I hear with some games, you have to download the additional language option now, so what’s the issue here?

  • vault2049

Getting the Sisters Bundle the moment the store updates!

  • Carlos Escalante

I alredy “own” One’s from the collectors edition, no savings for me I guess?

    • revenent hell

      Thought that myself.

      • Kornelious

We will still probally end up paying the full price in the end X(

    • Yan Zhao

      yeah same :<

    • mojack411

Don’t we have the Extended Download Service from the CE that lets us download this DLC for free as well?

      • Brimfyre

What is the Extended Dowload Service? I have the CE and this is the first I’ve heard of it.

      • vault2049

Man, looked everywhere and I can’t find this “Extended Download Service” you are mentioning in your post. Where did you read/heard about it? As far as I’ve gathered, only One’s DLC and some other aesthetic content was included with the CE (as well as the Novella’s and OSTs.)

        • mojack411

It was in the receipt when you bought the CE on the SE store. There were three items: The CE itself, the Japanese Voice Pack and Costume Pack, and Extended Download Service. I haven’t been able to check yet since I’m at work, though.

          • vault2049

Probably by “extended” it only meant One’s DLC and the other items that they advertised as included? Did this Extended Download Service had any sort of description about what it actually offered? Was the service described as “download all future DLCs”, or something similar to that?

          • revenent hell

The “extended” DL service meant the “pre order by this date” DLC which was the Neir costume stuffs, the themes and Japanese VO depending on when you ordered the CE.
It doesn’t apply to these prequels.

      • revenent hell

This isn’t included as the free DLC.
The CE came with certain DLC and for pre ordering it by certain dates you could get other DLC but these prequels aren’t included in that.
The website says as much if you would like to go reread it.

  • So, who translated that DLC text? Because, well…
“please reduce damage taken by 5% when equipped”
D-Don’t beg me for your DLC to work…

    • Somebodyissilent

I’m sure that’s whoever is putting that one on is saying that.

      • Answer Engrish with Engrish.

        • Somebodyissilent

Ah wondered if anyone would get that.

          • It hurt my head. I got it plenty.

          • Somebodyissilent

            Added the missing words.

  • Robert Kupper

I really loved the game, but $30 is a bit much. Hopefully there is a lot of dialogue in them.

  • Bob Slim

    I been waiting for this

  • Kornelious

While I do love Drakengard 3 to pieces, this is a LOT of money for DLC…..But if they all work together to make content long enough to qualify as an expansion, I will definently give it the slide and pick it up :D (Even though I already have One’s)

  • Freud_Hater

Gonna buy all this stuff :3

  • SaiyanJedi_Trunks

I will definitely be picking up the sister pack…but I have to beat the game first. On my way to kill the virgin :)

  • fairysun

Damn, the Sister bundle costs half of the game. Is it worth the price?

    • That’s honestly a really tough call. They really were very good in terms of story, but the actual game-play time was kind of short, about 40~ minutes for each sister. There were really good though. Two’s was really moving, all of them did a good job expanding on characters in the story.

      But damn they were expensive.

      • fearlubu

Looks like I’ll play the waiting game.

  • Jaeger Knighty

    Sooo… EU when? ;-;

  • ddh819

how is this game? it got some mixed reviews on the mainstream sites…

    • César H. Sandoval

Well, this really isnt a mainstream game, that’s all you need to make a guess.

    • brian
I like it to death, but it is REALLY flawed.

      • Göran Isacson

Pretty darn useful video here- t’is yours? As someone who has played Drakengard 1 only, I was wondering if one could play it without having played Nier (I own it, but have yet to play it) at all- like, do you miss something big storywise, or is this more connected to Drakengard 1?

        • brian

Nah, it’s someone else’s, but echoes a lot of my opinions on it so far.
I haven’t gotten really far yet, so I wouldn’t know for sure though Yoko Taro mentioned something about it being related to D1 and Nier equally iirc.
You should probably play through Nier first at least until ending B, and by that time this game may have a decent price drop,

    • AKA Takumix

IMHO, a weird game with twisted mind given the scene of the immature dragon pooping in front of the heroine, and the latter having nihilistic and sadistic wish to kill her sisters… And to top all of this lack of taste, you have a simplistic and repetitive beat em up system.

So I can only feel sorry for the scam SE pulled off with the trailers full of intense cutscenes to and hide the mediocrity of the game and lure the buyers of the collector edition…

BTW I’m always OK to experience games with so much originality beyond mainstream that they become cult, but only if they’re well executed like Star Ocean 2 or Shadow of Colossus….

      • DizzyGear

You forgot the unstable framerate and the screentearing.
Technical and Gameplay issues aside Drakengard 1 and NieR had the story and characters to carry them. Sadly i cant say the same Drakengard 3 so far. Though I’m only at chapter 4 so i hope it gets better.

    • Free hat

Well it’s debatable your mileage on the game will vary depending on your like of Drakengard and Nier. It’s overall good but it takes a while to get to the good stuff.

  • Dystopiq

Remember when costumes where unlockables? Those were the days!

    • Freud_Hater

      Yeaaaaars ago…

    • Ric Vazquez

      Yep, our childhood days lol

    • zaidandzhadow

it just begun with one stupid paying for one costume

  • Freud_Hater

So uhhh… have the DLC stuff not been released yet? ‘cuz I just went on the PSN and it didn’t seem to be there… Was I just in the wrong place?

  • Soaringfalco

    darn traded in my game.

  • Mika Chuuu

New DLC and for the EU region the old DLC that came with the game is not even working yet <3.

  • Mir Teiwaz

I just checked the US PSN. It says that it includes prologues for all six sisters, so One is also in there.

  • Zak Ledward

    Told myself that I would never touch Drakengard 3 after finishing Branch D, but now I want to go back for 5 and 3 ;_;

Sorry my broken heart, but you’ll have to take some pain today

  • Souffrir

Look at all that stupidly-priced DLC I’ll never buy.

  • Zak Ledward

So I just started the DLC and there’s no Japanese voice patch support?

Looks like I’m waiting until there’s a fix

    • vault2049

Aw, hell no. At least I’m still on Branch C so I hope a patch is released soon.

  • Rayhan PromisedGallery
  • Crevox

please reduce damage taken by 5% when equipped

  • Mod Al Baloushi

but what about One’s dlc? are we gonna get that?

    • Zak Ledward

One’s DLC is only available in the bundle. Think because you had to get the CE if you wanted it as a stand alone

      • Mod Al Baloushi

        oh thanks.. :/

  • Tonie Hines

I don’t see the bundle when I go to the store. Help?
