Nintendo have shared gameplay footage of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate from their E3 live-stream. Accompanying the gameplay is commentary from Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, who provides some insight into how monsters are designed.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be available in North America and Europe in early 2015. New to the game is a brand new feature that allows the player to find equipment with randomized stats. You can read up on this here.

It’s kind of weird seeing MH in English for me now, haha. 4G needs to land like, now.

  • GOLD

    give us that demo!

  • A bit of a stretch, but I wonder if Tetsucabra got it’s name from the Chupacabra.

    • J_Joestar

Well Cabra is Spanish for Goat IIRC? which would be weird for a frog, maybe just thought it sounded cool.

      • You’re right. There’s always a bit of word plays with these titles though, so I’d like to know where it’s derived from. I really like Tetsucabra and am glad they didn’t pull a Nibblesnarf with it.

        • J_Joestar

yeah, the difference though is that Nibbles was a localization name, Tetsucabra is basically the exact same as the Japanese name except that fans translated it with a K instead of a C.

I need this in my life SO MUCH!

But until that happens, I’d love to get that demo (Especially if it has online multiplayer, I mean WHOA that’s amazing…!) :P

  • MaidKillua

I cannot wait to play this. I just finished off 3U this weekend and while i’ll still play it, it’s hard to stay as enthusiastic about a game you already beat

  • Kornelious

Man, I really need to hop back into Monster Hunter 3U…..

    • Ric Vazquez

      Same here

  • Elliot Roman
