Natsume Announce Release Windows For Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley And Other Games

By Ishaan . June 24, 2014 . 1:00pm

At E3, Natsume announced a bunch of games that they’re localizing for U.S. release over the next several months. This week, they provided an estimated release window for each of these games and others. Here’s what their schedule looks like:

  • Gabrielle’s Monstrous Duel (iOS) – Summer 2014
  • Reel Fishing Pocket 2: Ocean (iOS) – Summer 2014
  • Ninja Strike (iOS) – Fall 2014
  • Reel Fishing Master’s Challenge (Vita) – Winter 2014
  • Alphadia Genesis (Wii U) – Winter 2014
  • Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley (3DS) – Fall 2014
  • A-Train: City Simulation (3DS) – Winter 2014

Earlier in the month, Natsume also confirmed that they would be bringing Harvest Moon 2 for Game Boy Color and Lufia: The Legend Returns to the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, although they haven’t said just when the two can be expected.

Read that as “Windows release” and went WTF.

OK, glad I’m not the only one who did that. Read the headline quickly and went “wait, we don’t have any PC releases…” XD

Perhaps you should consider this if Lost Valley goes well. I sure wouldn’t mind a PC Harvest Moon release at some point…

The PC market is a whole different kettle of fish from where we currently swim :)

ahaha, dang. Well, at least know there’s probably an interest if it ever comes up down the line! I guess it’s better to focus on the consoles first though.

I read “Natsume announced harvest moon for Windows.”
      I’m slightly dissapointed now.

I read the same thing and was like “Say Whaaaaa?! That’s unexpected”. Then I read the article content and looked back carefully at the title lol

Hopefully we get more gameplay soon. I really want to like this one, even if it isn’t by Marvelous, but that first trailer we got didn’t impress me at all.

  • Kaitsu

Oh goddammit, I was slightly excited and confused by the title. Only for me to realize that’s not what it was saying.

  • Seraph

Any idea who might be publishing for Europe? Any Harvest Moon game I’m prepared to give a try.

  • Kornelious

Really excited that they are localizing Alphadia Genesis :D

Also is the Harvest Moon release date for Japan or the US?

    • http://natsume.com CeeCee

North America — Fall 2014. South America and Europe are TBD; the game has not been announced for Japan at this time :)

Isn’t it out in English for Smartphones already though?

LOL I thought the games were coming out on PC at first. Read the title a few times then the article and went: “Ooooooh I’m silly”.

I’d be more pumped for a Harvest Moon with Minecraft-y looking construction stuff if the character models looked better. Why are they so skinny? It’s just weird. And very… not how those games’ designs usually look.

I know that they don’t want to infringe on Story of Seasons’ and all, but yeesh. Those ugly stick people are nasty. Reminds me of the kind of junk that Miis get involved in.

Don’t really care anymore about Natsume… All about XSEED getting the new Harvest Moon. The Lost Valley isn’t even a Harvest Moon game. Natsume is dead to me…
