Eight years after the first game, Cooking Mama is still going. Majesco announced this morning that Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit! will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on September 16th in North America. Cooking Mama 5 will have 60 recipes to unlock, encompassing appetizers, drinks, main courses and desserts. Other cooking-related activities in the game will include feeding Mama’s pets, delivering orders, serving ice-cream, organizing crafts and word games that you can play. The game will also support Download Play for up to four players using a single 3DS cartridge. Download Play will allow for some sort of “cook off” feature with your friends. Majesco also stated in a press release that, so far, the Cooking Mama games have sold over 13 million copies worldwide.
