  • Neat! Robot Fighters!

  • DeepSleeper

It looks like a 1 on 1 fighting game, not what I’d call a “hack and slash”. Anyone played it, able to give a better description of the style of this?

    • Namco have described it as a hack-and-slash before, but yeah, it basically looks like a fighter. I’ve updated the post to just say that instead.

I didn’t even realize this was being localized until now O_O

It was actually announced for NA/EU before it was in Japan.

Sidescrolling fighter? Awww… I am disappoint. I thought we had a new Custom Robo thingy.

    • natchu96

I never even got to play one of those before my old DS died :(

And now this year my wallet can’t handle much more, so I’m not about to go back try to obtain one.

Custom Robo Arena for the DS was my first Custom Robo game, and being a vet(?) of the old Armored Core games (I played up to Ninebreaker and Master of Arena), it was an instant hit for me.

Although I never got around to actually finishing the game, lol. But man, arena combat with customizable mechs are a ton of fun, and it had online too!

Seemed like fun to me. Too bad I didn’t notice it before they stopped making the stuff and my DS died >_<

I wish they'd make more of that genre.

          • Ferofax

Oh man, me too. Me too. :(

I’ll probably pick this up sometime down the line, but not at launch since Smash Bros releases the week before, and then not long after Fantasy Life will be out.
