  • Jimmy Bump

also front mission 3 was missed it is 2.99

    • Zaig

$2.99?! Thanks for the heads up so I can steal it.

    • mockturtle

That’s the only one I got. Everything else I already had in some form (except FFT War of the Lions, but I’d rather get that physically anyway).

    • MrTyrant

Such a fine gem. Would SE consider in doing a secuel if sells a lot? I think not and is sad. Miss this amazing tactical game.

      • Jimmy Bump

There is a front mission 4 in case you didn’t know I don’t really know a lot about front mission the only one I played was front mission 1 on the super famicom.

  • AuraGuyChris

Pfft. Who would jump into the first Dissidia? The sequel practically has its prequel’s content.

    • People miss going into EX-Mode and escaping anything during the transformation at the same time… that’s it.

      • Aha Disco Elf

And dodge cancels. Goddamn what I would kill for the return of dodge cancelling.

    • mockturtle

“Practically”? I was under the impression that it contained a remastered version of the first Dissidia. Am I wrong?

      • AuraGuyChris

Well, yes, you’re right with the impression. But even so, it has all of its contents. The only difference is that the sequel has a chaotic world map over a chess map.

        • mockturtle

So I don’t need to go buy the first one then?

          • AuraGuyChris

No. There is no need to buy the first one. The people who got to play the first game only get to transfer everything they got in there plus an Elixir bonus pack. You can get straight into all of Dissidia in the sequel.

          • mockturtle

Okay, that’s what I thought. Sorry for the sudden noobish breakdown. Thanks!

          • Wait what

There is one thing worth knowing, though. Technically Dissidia 012 is a prequel, not a sequel. It does contain the entire story and content from the original game, but it’s only unlocked after you finish the new 012 storyline.

          • Which makes the story 4 times longer, when you think of the rearranged cutscenes and added dialog in the 013 scenario.

    • Depends, really. My Jecht is a lot more fun to control in the original for a variety of reasons (mostly stemming from EX Mode).

Fights are a lot shorter though.

  • pokeroi

    Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (PS3/PSV) – $19.99

And I was so close to buy it physically during last weekend for 35$…nice

    • alexis cortes

They had Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster at gamestop NEW!! for $19.99 on ps3 just 2 weeks ago, did you miss the chance?. I actually got it for $9.99 since I used a 10 dollars discount coupon from powerup rewards which I was saving for that game.

  • pimpalicious

I’m thinking of getting FFIV Complete Collection. It’s been a long time since I played the original, and I’ve never touched The After Years and other added content.

    • LustEnvy

It’s amazing. Don’t miss it. Absolutely mind blowingly good. Prefer it even over the DS 3D version.

      • pimpalicious

        I just bought it.

I wish Parasite Eve 2 and The 3rd Birthday were also discounted.

    • Brandonmkii

The After Years is pretty MEH overall, but FFIV on its own is worth that price.

    • It’s worth a go. There’s a very long list of things to do and may as well be the definitive version of IV.

  • Kufuu

Finally. Been holding out for ages to get FFIV complete collection for cheaper.

  • Go2hell66

Waiting for discount on drakengard dlc

  • Jesse Torres

How about a new Dissidia for VITA.

    • leingod

Al kidding aside, it’d be awesome.

      • Ric Vazquez

      • AuraGuyChris

If it has Vivi in it, I’d buy a Vita.

        Viva Vivi Vita!

    • KingGunblader

      With proper online multiplayer.

    • Draparde

      I would love that!

  • doubleO7

Front Mission 3 (PSOne) and Elevator Action Deluxe (PS3) are also on sale. They’re at the link, so its kinda odd that they weren’t listed here.

  • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

I grabbed FM3 and FFX/X-II HD even though memcard are awfully expensive. A shame they didn’t have Xenogears on sale because I’d have grabbed it too~.

  • Awesome games, awesome prices. Go go go shoppingu! :)

  • MagiusNecros

No discount on Vagrant Story or Xenogears? Pfft.

    • Skye Johnson

I’ve seen them on sale quite a few times. Their time will come soon again, undoubtedly.

  • KingGunblader

If anyone’s still playing Duodecim, the Dissidia Forums are holding a summer tournament: http://dissidiaforums.com/showthread.php?16401-Festivo-Ruleset-amp-Signups&s=aad936af952d8ace9552e132af5e2de7

This forum is actually a good place to hangout even if you don’t plan to enter tourneys. It’s the easiest way to find multiplayer matches with the AHP system.

    • Snorlaxation

Thanks for the info. I’m just getting back into it now, so this sale is pretty great timing.

    • I would but I’ve had issues two-fold: One, the people there for the most part and two, the fact that no one can ever figure out why AHP works just fine for some and not for others. No one ever seems to know.

Honestly, I’m hoping someone can be better than AHP one of these days because it is a great game to go against others with but certainly not over the medium they give you. I really would much rather have it ported over to the PS3/4 or here there’s a sequel in the works over console.

  • Snorlaxation

I’m finally going to buy the X/X-2,but I have a question. Do I purchase the bundle if I want the Vita version (only?), and the main game for the PS3 if I don’t want the Vita version? I’d love to play it on both the PS3 and Vita.

But while I’m sure it looks great on the PS3, I’d like to get it on the Vita for on the go playing.

    • pokeroi

Both bundle are sold separately on SEN.

  • pokeroi

Question, FF X/X-2 bundle on Vita is listed having 6.6G on SEN. I guess it’s for both games together. But do I have to download both together, or I can do them separately? I have 2 4GB memory cards….

    • vault2049

Separately. One 3402 MB download for X HD and another 3415 MB one for X-2 HD. Both downloads start automatically, just cancel the one you won’t play now and save it for later when you have space. I’m not sure how much MBs do the 4 GB cards actually have though. My 16 GB only has 14234 MB. Make sure to check that out.

      • pokeroi

        cool thx!

  • Ric Vazquez

Good time to grab some of the older FF titles I haven’t played in a long while.

  • PkmnChmp5

*Triple H voice* Dissidia, Dissidia 012, FFIII, FFIV: Complete Collection, & FF XIII-2. And you can get them all on the Playstation Network for just $9.99.

    • Raging Rasta

Lol aw man you just had to go there.

  • dj_jm09

Yo this is an amazing sale! I am looking forward to picking up some of these titles such as Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection, Tactics, both Dissidia games, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster so that way my Vita will surely get its JRPG fix lol!!!

    • Brandon001

brah, do not even bother buying the first dissidia, as duodecim basically includes the first game, AND improves upon it.

That said, you NEED to get duodecim, damn good game.

  • Chris Hodges

This was what I was waiting for. NOW I will pick up FFVIII.

  • DivinePhoenix69

I never got to finish LR so i guess this is great opportunity to pick it up along with FFIV and FM3.

  • Sergio Macellaro

    Only FFIII to me.

  • ishyg

Chrono Cross! Wait, is it playable on Vita?

    • Learii

      I hope so

      • C_Adjudicator

I’ve had it on my vita for a while now. Plays great!

      • ishyg

I just bought it from a Vita, so I can confirm it myself. Finally, I’ve been waiting ages to play this again! I haven’t gotten the true ending on my first play-through before, hopefully I can get it this time.

        • I’m stuck when i reached triangle sea and the game told me to change disc to disc 2.
Do you also meet this issue?

          • C_Adjudicator

I believe you either hold the home button or hold your finger on the touch menu to access the PS menu and access the disc settings. You should be able to switch discs that way from what I remember.

        • Learii

my game broken when I got to half way to disc 1 so I never beat the game

  • Raging Rasta

    Dissidia for 10 bucks?

    • stephane3012

Damn it I literally bought this game 3 days before knowing it was getting discounted.I’m so salty now….

      • If you talk to Playstation Support they might be able to give you back the difference, I see it happen all the time on the Vita forums.

      • Raging Rasta

        Lol we’ve all been there.

  • PoweredByHentai

I’m disappointed that Vagrant Story, Threads of Fate and Xenogears aren’t on the list.

  • Skye Johnson

Thinking about getting FF X/X-2 set. …Question is, Vita or PS3?

    • EtherealEarth

Do you have time to sit on a couch and enjoy your game for hours on a big screen? If so, PS3 for you.

But if you don’t have time for that or have to travel a lot, PSV one would be good for you.

  • Lightning Returns would go on sale as soon as I decided no more game purchases outside what I’ve pre-ordered ( >w<)

  • alexis cortes

Please bring Crisis Core: FFVII to psn.
