HeroCraft’s award-winning strategy game King of Dragon Pass (KoDP) is now available to download from Google Play. Originally published as a computer game back in 1999, KoDP gained new fans and recognition when it was launched on the App Store just three years ago.

The story of KoDP follows the livelihood of several barbarian clans in the fantasy world of Glorantha. As the leader of one of these clans, you must make difficult diplomatic decisions to ensure the continued survival of your people.

KoDP for Android devices is priced at $9.99 in the Google Play Store.

Oh, wow, I love this game. But is the android version any better than the (cheaper) version off GOG?

    • It’s supposed to have more content, if it’s based off the iOS version.

For anyone who might be interested in getting it for PC, the game is also available on GOG.

That said, this game would better be described as an electronic “choose your own adventure” book rather than a strategic RPG.

Which is just as great, in my opinion. I can think of a bunch of franchises I would revive in CYOA form.

I was thinking the same. Picked it up a sale a few weeks back for $3.
Good game, although it isn’t always a smooth run on my laptop. Half of the time problems starting up.

King of Dragon was an old arcade/SNES game…lol.

    Basically Barbarian Oregon Trail?
