  • Jim

Feels like NA PSN should have gotten discount on virtue’s last reward also.

    • PenguinPlayer

Virtue’s Last Reward was published by Aksys in the US tho.

    • That! Guess I’ll just wait for a sale when Aksys deems we are worthy of one…

  • …Who?

I guess they’re better known in Europe, judging by the deals in NA vs. EU.

    • Stephen Mc Devitt

They brought over a few titles like No More Heroes, Little King’s Story and Deadly Premonition over. They’re kinda like XSEED.

  • phayroent

What the hey? All of those European discounts. I would have bought a few games at those prices.

    • Michael Kelehan

Those games are published by others in the US.

  • NeoStrayCat

Well, the only thing I picked up was Under Defeat HD, really cheap, with PS+ discount, and an easy plat, lol. :3

  • What’s the difference between vanilla and Gold edition for DP: Director’s Cut? I think it’s time for me to finally try that game.

  • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

Not to be “That guy” (TM) but America so got the shorter end of the stick~.

    • That’s because Rising Star are primarily a European publisher.

  • Nas

Just to make it clear as to why Europe’s got more discount :
Majority of those games were distributed here in Europe by RSG as for NA all the games listed are handled by different distributors (XSEED, Axsys, Natsume).

  • ddh819

wow some bad reviews out there for the super black bass, is it nothing like the 16bit era game?

  • Stephen Mc Devitt

Purchased KoF XIII (along with God Hand and Wild Arms) yesterday.

I realise I suck at it when facing Ash Crimson. More comfortable with Namco fighting games ‘cus they’re controller-friendly.

  • disgaea36

Not even for 6 bucks is DP worth it game runs and looks like a broken ps1 game and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

  • D-Omen

Should I get Hakuoki on the 3DS, guys? I love me both visual novels and otome games.

  • Learii

    NA get nothing

  • Kornelious

Wow, The amount of good games Europe has compared to NA is laughable :(

    • Anewme…Again

That’s because Rising star publish much more games in Europe.

Most of the game you see in the Europe sales, was published by various other publishers in NA.

      • Yup. Usually XSeed, Kornelious, which is Marvelous’ distributor here in the States. Rising Star is the EU distributor for them.

Aksys publishes some of the games on this list here too, instead of Rising Star. Like Zero Escape.

    • Zoozbuh

Not really… We’re just lucky we have Rising Star Games to publish these games for us, since most of them were already released in NA by other companies, usually much earlier. :/

  • Wait what

What is the Gold Edition? Why is it the same price as the other one?

    • César H. Sandoval

It seems it has all the DLC and avatars.

    • Mr_SP

In Australia, it’s 60 cents difference. But it’s all avatars, suits and cars, so it’s almost meaningless. Oh, and a house. Just… a house. You can live in it. It does nothing else. So, practically meaningless.

      • Wait what

No reason to not get this version over the other one, though. I wonder why it wasn’t 60 cents more elsewhere.

        • Mr_SP

I don’t disagree with that – I bought the Gold Edition. I’m just saying: suits and cars. You’re not missing out on anything big, if you don’t.

  • JustThisOne

<3 Looks like it's time to invest in some deeeeadly premonitions.

  • Souffrir

At first I was like: “O, hay, discounts!”

And then I was like: “Oh. You meant in *Europe*.”

  • D-Omen

Alright, got Hakuoki and downloading now. I’m ready for some otome goodness! :-)

  • Satoshi Ookami

Anyone who still didn’t, buy VLR now! =D
