Durarara!! x2 Anime Begins Airing In January, Here’s A Trailer

Aniplex recently shared a trailer for the Durarara!! x2 anime, which is currently in production. The sequel to the previous Durarara series is being produced at studio Shuka, which was formed as recently as June of last year.

 

Durarara!! x2 will introduce a few new characters, including Mizuki Akabayashi, Vorona, and Chikage Rokujo. Meanwhile, the returning characters will be voiced by their original voice-actors.

 

Durarara!! x2 will begin airing in 2015, and there will be a release gap of several months between each part. Part 1 of the series will air in January, followed by part 2 in July, and part 3 premiering in January 2016.
