Smartphone RPG Granblue Fantasy Is Getting A Soundtrack Release

By Ishaan . November 23, 2014 . 12:31pm

Earlier in the year, Cygames released an Android and iOS RPG titled Granblue Fantasy. As detailed in past reports, the game features designs by Final Fantasy VI art director Hideo Minaba and music by Nobuo Uematsu.

Granblue Fantasy has apparently gained enough of a following that Cygames have released an official soundtrack for fans. The soundtrack was in fair demand at Comiket 86, and is now being re-released for 3,000 yen.

Granblue Fantasy has only been released in Japan, but if you want to go to the effort of playing it in Japanese, there’s an English-language community for the game with a few helpful guides that you might want to look into. You can find it here.

The soundtrack is short but kind of sweet, and is reminiscent of old Final Fantasy. If anyone feels like checking it out, it was recently released by #gamemp3s –

I’d think it would be best to be linked to a site where you can purchase the soundtrack, rather than a place where one could freely download it. Sorry about this, but all I did was remove the link.

Wow this all sounds just fantastic! Nobuo does it again :D

Day 1 and still actives player here. The game really has a fantastic soundtrack. The boss fight themes for the magna summons are the bomb

Is it hard to understand? I’ve seen this game during TGS and I wanted to play it, but I’m afraid it’d be too hard to understand.

What I’ve been waiting for is a localized release.
