Rune Factory 4 Has An Age Rating From PEGI In Europe

By Ishaan . December 1, 2014 . 9:15am

Soon, Europe, soon. Rune Factory 4 is coming, and this morning, PEGI gave the game an age rating of 12, with the following description:

The content of this game is suitable for persons aged 12 years and over only. It contains: Non realistic looking violence towards human characters – Mild bad language – Violence causing minor injury only

Prior to this, the game was rated by the USK in Germany back in October. Hopefully, that means Rune Factory 4’s European release isn’t too far off. After all the drama, it will be nice for Europeans to finally get to play the game.

Rune Factory 4 will be published in Europe as a download title via the Nintendo eShop. We’ll post news of a release date when Xseed announce one.

    BASED XSEED

THE DREAM IS REAL BASED XSEED PULLING THROUGH

  • Love this game, my only complaint, there are 3 save files, not enough for me to date everyone >_<

  • Yoshinatsu

    Whoop, there it is.

  • Daria_Melos

It’s great that everyone in Europe will finally be able to play this game! I’ve been loving the game so far.

  • Liamv2

Ah once again the rating system misses the innuendos and dirty jokes in the rune factory series. MWAHAHAHAHA!

  • JuVu

Oh my God, it’s going to happen soon. I’m beyond hyped for this. FINALLY.

  • PowerSerg

I just feel sorry for people in the EU not being able to get a physical copy. I think RF3 is better but this game is still great fun.

  • GameTaco

    It’s a miracle~

    • Kittens

      Lol well this is awkward.

  • Kittens

    It’s a Christmas Miracle!

  • Yan Zhao

Saying “I love you” to every person you meet and (trying) making babies with them, with various sexual innuendos and jokes. Age 12 everyone!

    • darke

Shooting everyone you meet, and watching their brains, organs, and testicles explode in zoomed-in, 3d-onion-modeled, slow motion. Age 16 everyone!

(Seriously, Sniper Elite 3 is only a PEGI 16 release, which is one classification higher then Rune Factory 4; it’s not even 18+!.)

    • If you’re surprised at this, you should try watching one of the old “Carry On” films, rated PG… this kind of stuff is considered tame in most of Europe.

      • darke

Ah! Yeah, I remember watching those when I was in early primary school in Australia. I had forgotten they were rated so low. :P

People celebrating something that could have been ”fixed” a year ago if there was no region lock, it’s like a slave praising their master for giving them the last remaining scraps of bread after not eating for days.

    • JMaster3000

I know :/ but i’m happy and ashamed about it :/

    • All Fiction

I agree, but at least it’s nice XSeed still try to fix a situation that is Nintendo’s fault, even though Neverland died

    • landlock

Not really Xseed doesn’t have a lot of say when it comes to the region lock. Since there mainly a US only publisher they’d most likely prefer there wasn’t one as well.

    • persona_yuji

You know… I actually would have prefered the game to be released in my region and importing as a last resort (which this would’ve been the case if XSeed wasn’t so damn awesome). Not everyone likes to import, you have to take that in mind.
Oh, and if you were a slave and you hadn’t eat anything in days, damn straight you would be thankful for scraps of bread.

    • sakanaとkoeda

Isn’t it more of a case of better late than never?

  • All Fiction

    YES, YES, YES !

  • Pinkemon

Thank you Xseed. I’m so hyped.

I wanna date the fox guy. I’m gonna date the fox guy. Heck yes,

  • Postnjam

YES! GLORY TO THE BLESSED XSEED

  • SirRichard

I’m glad they’re doing it, but this situation really never should’ve come about in the first place. At least they never gave up, though!

  • FinalArcadia

I’m glad Europe is finally getting the chance to play this! It’s truly a fantastic 3DS game, one of the best on the system, so that’s great more people will have the opportunity to play it.

  • MaidKillua

Another game I wont play till the New 3DS is released and I get a US one it seems.

Though good news for those who dont mind digital

  • Raine

Knowing XSEED, teh innuendos and sex jokes will be intact.

    Teehehee

  • Gust blade

    Finally … (;_;)

  • awat

guys anyone here played this ?! i have been wanting to buy this game for my U.S console long ago and i still havent purchased it, anyone here played it . how good is it ( i am not a big fan of HM games but i liked rf tides of destiny).
worth spending over 40-50$ on this one ?

    • GoombaJMR

Yeah, it’s definitely worth it. I have over 40 retail 3DS games and this one has the most hours on it :3 that doesn’t mean too much maybe, but it’s definitely got a lot of content packed in there.

Juts buy it, it’s really fun :3 I’m not too big of an HM fan, but I found this really enjoyable~

      • awat

thanks heaps brother, this is in my get game list. haha

        • GoombaJMR

Good good :3 hope you have a great time with it yo

  • Zoozbuh

Omg, what’s this?!? I could have sworn we got some news saying a Rune Factory 4 European release is “impossible” because the developers went bankrupt, or something? Or am I totally getting mixed up here. Either way, hell yes I will be getting this, as I’ve heard very good things about it from a couple American friends :D

    • Keys

You’re right. I remember that, too.

  • Gold

I hope XSEED put themselves as a potential bachelor in the game, because I want to marry them to show my gratitude.

  • Lizzie Foster

well it 11 12 but i cant download it is out 2 day ??
