Fault Milestone One, a visual novel developed by Alice in Dissonance, begins rolling out on Steam today. Published by Sekai Project, this is the director’s cut version of the game with added content from the original Japanese release.

Fault Milestone One is a sci-fi story about a princess named Selphine and her Royal Guard, Ritona. While escaping an assault on their homeland, the two end up trapped in a forest with no signs of life. The game is split up into chapters, called “milestones,” and the first chapter is available today.

Fault Milestone One will let you play in both Japanese and English. You’ll be able to switch between Japanese and English text using the “J” key.
