Ghost in the Shell: Arise TV Anime To Contain Two New Episodes

You may recall that two new Ghost in the Shell projects were recently announced in Japan—a brand new animated movie, as well as a Ghost in the Shell: Arise TV anime. Today, a few additional tidbits were announced about the latter.

 

The Ghost in the Shell: Arise TV anime will consist of footage from the four Arise OVAs, and will include two new episodes as well. The series is titled Ghost in the Shell: Arise – Alternative Architecture, and will lead into the upcoming animated film.

 

The Ghost in the Shell: Arise TV anime will begin airing on Japan’s Tokyo MX channel on April 5th. Meanwhile, the new movie will premiere in Japanese theatres this Summer.
