In a live “Letter From the Producer” Q&A, the Final Fantasy XIV team shared further details on the Gold Saucer area in the game, which is the main attraction of the version 2.51 patch.     You can watch producer/director Naoki Yoshida answer questions in the video above, and an English transcript of his replies can be found on the game’s official forum.   Patch 2.51 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be released next week.
