Fire Emblem: Awakening Has Sold Nearly 1.8 Million Copies Worldwide

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally have worldwide sales data for Fire Emblem: Awakening.

The information comes via the official website of Renka, a music artist that will provide the singing for Aqua (the dancer girl) in Fire Emblem If. The site reveals that Fire Emblem: Awakening has sold over 1.79 million copies globally as of December 2014.

That’s a major achievement for a Japanese RPG, and it gives one a little perspective on just how mainstream Fire Emblem is now, compared to a few years ago.
