Corpse Party Live-Action Film Gets Its First Trailer

The debut trailer for the live-action film adaptation of Corpse Party has been released by 5pb. You can watch the trailer above.

 

The Corpse Party movie features AKB48 and Nogizaka46 member Rina Ikoma in her first starring role. Ikoma will play a third-year high school student named Naomi Nakashima. Meanwhile, Ryousuke Ikeoka from male acting group D-BOYS will play Satoshi Mochida, while Popteen magazine’s Nozomi Maeda will play Ayumi Shinozaki.

 

Corpse Party is directred by Masafumi Yamada, a Japanese horror director. The film will premiere in Japan on August 1st. 5pb. are also releasing an updated Nintendo 3DS version of the original Corpse Party game on July 30th in Japan.
