The Great Ace Attorney Says “Objection!” To Bicycle Theft

Recommended Videos

In the Great Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright’s ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodou, will be one of the earlier attorneys in Japan around the time the Western judicial system was introduced. Capcom have announced that he’ll help out in present day Japan in real life with an anti-bicycle theft campaign.

The poster reads: “Those of you parking bikes with no locks—wait right there!” It’s a message to remind cyclists in the Tokyo Metropolitan area to  make sure they keep their bicycles properly locked in order to prevent bicycle theft, which seems to be an ongoing problem in the area.

This collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department will have the posters throughout Tokyo, and they’ll also have events sponsored by the police department to further spread the awareness of bicycle theft. As you can see, the poster also has some screenshots for the game along with a release date, which is actually a pretty interesting way to promote the game while also spreading a good message for the citizens in Tokyo.

Capcom also recently shared a look at some gameplay details, where we get to see how Ryunosuke Naruhodou will work with Sherlock Holmes on the game’s second case, where Ryunosuke finds himself in trouble while on a ship ride to London.

The Great Ace Attorney will release in Japan on July 9, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
