In a recent interview with Siliconera, series producer Koji Nakajima revealed that Akainu was the hardest character to create within the game, since his abilities aren’t depicted in a detailed fashion in either the One Piece manga or anime. You can read about how Namco went about creating him here.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 will be released for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on August 25th in North America and August 28th in Europe.
