Green Herbs Return In Resident Evil VII

The Resident Evil Ambassador program has revealed a bit of information about Resident Evil VII. Two kinds of healing items have been revealed for the game. The first is the Green Herb, a staple that has been with the series since the original Resident Evil. It is shown next to some medicinal bottles.

The second Resident Evil VII healing item is an entirely new object. It is a coin. Capcom makes no effort to explain it, only saying, “Oh wait… what’s this coin doing here?”

To participate in the Resident Evil Ambassador program, which affords the opportunity to see information like this early, share it, and participate in events, someone must be over 17 years old and register to take part. You must complete a brief survey, sharing your thoughts on the series, as well as register at least one or more social media accounts.

Resident Evil VII will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017.
