Some of you may have spotted someone resembling Professor Oak in the latest Pokémon Sun & Moon trailer, but it’s actually a relative of his living in the Alola region. 4Gamer shares a look and a quick explanation.

The character in question is named Nariya Okido (Nariya Oak) a cousin of Professor Oak who lives in the Alola region. Other than sharing an almost identical face, he has darker skin and long hair. Similar to his cousin, Nariya is also a professor, and he studies Region Forms of Pokémon in Alola.

Pokémon Sun & Moon will release for Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America on November 18, and in Europe on November 23, 2016. Catch up on the latest info in our earlier report.
