The year of Legendary Pokémon is concluding with a distribution of the second-generation Legendaries in Ho-oh and Lugia starting today through November 25, 2018.

The Pokémon Company announced that the newest Online Competition for Pokémon Sun & Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, is a Halloween-themed event called Ultra Spooky Cup, and it has Shiny Mimikyu rewards.
