Last week, Japan saw the release of Fate/Extella, the hack and slash Musou-style game from Type Moon’s series by Marvelous. We also saw the release of the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Nintendo Classic Mini: Famicom. Here’s the latest from Japanese sales tracker Media Create’s data on video game software and hardware that sold from the week of November 7 through November 13, 2016.

At top of the week, Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star placed #1 with the PlayStation Vita version selling 73,019 copies, its PS4 placed #2 with 67,356 copies in its debut, and the “Velber Box” edition* placed #6 with 18,439 copies sold in its debut for a total of 158,814 units sold in its debut across all versions.

Although depending on how you look at it, the Velber Box edition (the one that comes with Fate/Extella’s PS4/PS Vita versions, plus a booby mouse pad) could count as 18,439 added to both PS4 and PS Vita, but since Media Create is counting it as a single entry, we’ll go with that. In any case, those numbers look pretty good for Fate/Extella, especially considering how the Musou-style game market has seen better days. Selling about 100,000 copies isn’t anything new to the series, but perhaps Fate/Extella saw a nice boost from the popularity of Fate/Grand Order in Japan.

Next up, PriPara Mezameyo! Megami no Dress Design, Takara Tomy’s music and party game aimed towards younger girls, made its debut on 3DS with 28,865 copies sold to place #3, besting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on PS4 which took #4 with 27,330 units sold in its debut.

At #7 Beyblade Burst by FuRyu sold 16,516 units in its first week, showing that while Beyblade might not be as popular as it was back in its heyday, it can still manage to pull up some sales to chart. in the top-10. On the other hand, we have Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience by Konami, the version that includes both The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes as well as all previously-released DLCs, placing #19 with 4,196 copies sold. There are many reasons as to why it saw such low numbers for its debut, but it could be because it’s barely been a year since the release of Metal Gear Solid V, and I probably don’t need to remind you guys how people have been feeling about Konami these days. And finally, we have Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan: Shijou Psi Dai no Psi-nan!? debut at #20 with 3,519 copies sold for 3DS.

On the hardware front, we saw the Nintendo Classic Mini: Famicom sell a whopping 261,381 units in its first week in Japan. We can expect to see those numbers rise over the course of the next two months. The PlayStation 4 Pro also made its debut to help the PlayStation 4 system reach 92,344 units sold in the week, a huge bump from the 32,041 the week prior. According to the numbers Famitsu provided earlier this week, it sold 65,194 units in its debut.
