Pokémon Sun & Moon Sell Over 425,000 Copies In First Week In France, Set New Record

In its first week after release, Pokémon Sun & Moon sold an impressive 1.5 million units in Europe alone. Out of that, 425,000 copies were sold in France, setting a new record for Nintendo games sold in the country.

 

To put things in a better perspective, Pokémon X & Y sold 125,000 copies, while Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire sold a combined total of 180,000 units in their respective launch weeks in France.

 

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are available for the Nintendo 3DS.
