The end of 2016 proved to be an excellent boost for Pokémon GO, with players spending $4.9 million on the day of December 31st, its best day of revenue since July 18th. [Thanks, SensorTower.]   Additionally, the final week of 2016 was Pokémon GO’s highest grossing week in the US at $22.1 million, beating out Clash of Clans and Battle Royale.   The holiday in-game events also exceeded the Halloween and Thanksgiving events, as well as the anticipated release of Generation 2 Pokémon.   Pokémon GO is available for iOS and Android devices.
