Back in November there were rumors going left and right about Nintendo ending the Wii U console’s production, but the company has officially ended its production in Japan according to the official website.   With the Nintendo Switch’s launch just around the corner in a little over a month, it makes sense hearing about the end of its production, and we’ll likely hear a follow-up from regions outside of Japan with a similar confirmation.   The Wii U released in November 2012 and has sold 13.56 million units to date.
