Sonic Forces Free Comic’s First Chapter Released

Yesterday, the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account posted a teaser image that something was coming. Today, the secret has been revealed. A free, four-part comic series will be released chapter-by-chapter as a lead up to Sonic Force’s launch. This prequel will set the stage for the game.

The Sonic Forces comic is scripted by Ian Flynn. You may remember him from the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie Comics issues. The first chapter, “Moment of Truth,” is seven pages long and a 133MB download. Oddly enough, each page is actually its own PDF file, rather than one eight-page long PDF with the cover included. The other three chapters will be released later in October 2017.

Sonic Forces will come to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on November 7, 2017.
