Shenmue III Delayed Until 2019

Deep Silver, the publisher for Shenmue III, has provided an updated release window for Shenmue III. Rather than appearing in the second half of 2018, it will now launch in 2019.

A brief explanation for the delay was offered. On the official site, it reads, “The extra time will be used to polish the quality of the game even further, to the high standards it deserves and release the product in the best possible timeframe.”

Shenmue III is in development for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Shenmue I & II will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC worldwide in 2018.
