Japanese Version Of RPG Maker MV Player Has An English Translation

The RPG Maker MV Player, a free application that allows people to download and play other games people with the full version of RPG Maker MV have made, is now available in Japan. However, people outside of the region who have made Japanese accounts to use on their Nintendo Switch systems may want to pick it up. Like the Japanese version of RPG Maker MV, it has an English language option. If someone’s default system language is set to English, the application’s text will be in English the moment you begin playing.

When someone opens up RPG Maker MV Player with their English language account, they will see all of the menu options are translated. People can then hop in and try a title under Play Game, visit the Maker Forum to find titles, look in the Shop, and check Options. You can download up to 10 games. The Maker Forum section allows you to search by ranking, genre, title, and game ID. Only looking under "Japanese" offers results at the moment. As a reminder, unless the game creators made a title in English, they will only have Japanese text. This translation only applies to the application’s menu options.
