PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will also get a DLC level from Heavenly Sword’s Fearless chapter. This area morphs into a futuristic WipEout track while you’re in the heat of a battle.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Accel World: Apex of Acceleration made their debut in Japan last week. Meanwhile, Fantasy Life continues to sell.
Sony have “cut ties” with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale developer, SuperBot Entertainment, days after the studio laid off a number of employees.
Kat and Emmett will be available for download on February 12th in North America and February 13th in Europe.
This morning, Sony showed off the first screenshots of Kat and Emmet in PlayStation All-Stars, along with a brief description of how they handle.
“Our first leak started out in a focus test, you know. We were really interested in getting fan-feedback for this game, because we feel like fans are the ones that are going to show up day-one to go out and buy this thing.”
Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from StarHawk will be joining the game early next year.
“I think we really did hit the very high-level top-line characters—past, present and future—from the PlayStation universe. There probably is a character or franchise out there that we didn’t hit this time around, but we are doing DLC for the game.”
Nariko takes on Dante, Sweet Tooth takes on Kratos, and at the very end, the game’s final boss reveals himself.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is bringing PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale over, but not this year. The mascot fighting game will be available in Japan on January 31, 2013.
PaRappa was a fast runner in the capture the flag game. Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal was a defender and Kratos from the God of War series was a mid-range attacker. This prototype was coming together, but development switched to a fighting game.
A Royal Armory with weapon replicas greeted fans before they got their hands on the final build of the game. We saw a Blade of Chaos on loan from Kratos, Heihachi Mishima’s hair gel, and Dante’s tanktop.
Sony’s recent series of teasers were for a live-action short inspired by PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
