Ragnarok Tactics’ story is set on a continent where two countries are in the midst of wavering political tension despite a contemporary truce. It has four storylines to complete.

Aksys Games released Ragnarok Tactics for the PSP today, and along with it, a trailer for the strategy RPG as well.

Developed by ex-Flight Plan staff at ApolloSoft, Ragnarok Tactics takes the MMORPG setting and reinvents it for a strategy RPG.

Aksys will publish the game as both a retail and download title, they announced this week.

GungHo Entertainment may have made the longest PSP demo to date. Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark – The First Ending Version actually lets players complete one cycle of the game.

GungHo released another round of trailers for their tactical RPG take on Ragnarok Online. Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark follows Torene, a wandering adventurer with a deadly slap attack.

That’s the premise of Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark from GungHo. They turned the online RPG into a portable strategy RPG. We’ve seen the characters before, these videos demonstrate the battle system.

Developer GungHo is trying to reimagine the Ragnarok Online universe offline… again. They have a PSP game in the works titled Raganrok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark.

Two versions of Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark will go on sale on October 27.

Ragnarok for PSP is played in chapters. The game’s opening chapter follows the protagonist, Torene, Cynthia, and Yui as they flee from monsters. In chapter 2, the group visit an orphanage from Torene’s village

GungHo Games added another twist to Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark, players see the storyline in pieces. Using the A.I.Z. (that stands for alternate if zapping) system you can switch perspectives and play a different route.
