“I also wanted to portray through Asbel’s storyline is when you were little you don’t care about a path or what people think about you. After you grow up you have to always think about social guidelines and expectations.”
“The most important thing is the Tales series is part of the JRPG genre so I want to create characters players can emphasize with and they will want to follow as the story continues.”

Tales series producer, Hideo Baba, is back with another community interview where he fields questions from western Tales fans.
“For now, we are looking at making better Tales of games with existing hardware. Of course, when the new generation of consoles appears, we will develop for those as well.”
“If we worried too much about what foreign players might think when we were developing them, we wouldn’t be able to take full advantage of our strengths,” Baba believes.
Heads up – the Tales contest will run until April 5th so if you haven’t made a greeting card yet there’s still time to make one!
