100,000,000+ Miis Made

During a game seminar presentation, Satoru Iwata said 100,000,000 – that’s 100 million Miis – have been made between Japan and North America alone.

Japanese Wii owners made 20 million + Miis. North America? They made over 80 million. The seminar took place on December 4, 2009, which means these numbers don’t include Miis made over the holidays. Data for Europe, Australia, and South Korea were not mentioned.

So, it’s probably safe there are way more than 100 million Miis out there. I made, I think, nine on my own. You?
