Blade Strangers, a crossover fighter involving multiple characters from Studio Sanzensen-developed or Nicalis-published games, appears to be getting DLC. Nicalis tweeted out a picture of Aban Hawkins, from 1001 Spikes, facing Curly Brace, from Cave Story, initially suggesting it was from the upcoming Crystal Crisis puzzle game. However, the account then noted it was definitely not from that newer game.
Here is the Nicalis tweet.

No Blade Strangers DLC has been released yet, which would make Aban the first additional fighter added post-launch. This would bring the number of playable characters up to 13 and would make him the first character from 1001 Spikes to appear in the game.
Blade Strangers is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
