There will be a lot more Epic Games Store free games available in December 2019. During The Game Awards 2019, the company announced a “12 Days of Free Games” promotion. Between December 19, 2019 and January 1, 2020, the days its holiday sale will run, people will be able to claim one free game each day. All they need to do is open up the launcher, log in, and claim that day’s game from the store. It then becomes a permanent part of their library.

There has been an Epic Games Store free games promotion in effect since the storefront launched. Initially, the deal was that people would get two free games each month. However, in May 2019, it upped the frequency to give people at least one game for free each week. If one of the games is for Mature audiences, then the company gives away two titles, which is happening this week until December 19, 2019, as people can claim both The Escapists and The Wolf Among Us. Any free game you pick up is yours forever.

The trailer not only confirmed these holiday sale Epic Games Store free games, but also brought up a few PC games that will be exclusively sold through the distributor. The list included Before We Leave, Bloodroots, Predator: Hunting Grounds, The Red Lantern, Rogue Company, Surgeon Simulator 2, and Totally Reliable Delivery Service.

The Epic Games Store holiday 2019 sale and its 12 days of free games will begin on December 19, 2019.
