Demon Gaze developer Experience has a new DRPG for PlayStation Vita and Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss continues the story from Labyrinth Cross Blood Infinity with a world set in Tokyo’s ruins. You are part of the EXP Corps and explore the Babel Labyrinth.
The EXP Corps deputy commander is Kaito Saeki, a 15 year old genius is a part-time teacher in the school where the protagonists are. Kaito’s big brother who is a deputy commanding officer in the EXP Corps have gone missing.
Kenichi Kanzaki is the principal of the school and is also the chief of the CPO. Kenichi focuses on his lab experiments and is known for his eccentric personality. He’s also Alice’s biological father. (Alice was revealed early on as the captain of the EXP Corps.)
Yusaku Fuwa works in the XPD. He was a detective, but now handles cases special cases called Hazard Events that the EXP Corps are involved with.
Miharu Utena is a detective whose father is also a detective. The word fear isn’t in her vocabulary and she often dives head first into danger. She’s often seen talking with Fuwa.
Mao Goto handles communications for the XPD. While her main job is to back up the XPD team, she also works with the EX Corps.
Players lead a group of EX Corps into dungeons in Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss which comes out on January 23, 2014 in Japan.
