2 New NieR: Automata A2 Figures Appeared at WonHobby 39

Good Smile Company brought two NieR: Automata A2 figures to show off at Wonder Festival 2025 Winter, with one being a scale figure and the other a figma. Both appeared at the painted prototype stage of development. This means we could end up seeing pre-orders for each of them appear in the next few weeks. It is unknown if they’re based just on the game, or on the anime adaptation as well.

Both of the A2 figures at the event seem to be depicted wielding the Type-4O Sword. In the case of the scale figure, she is actively striking and attacking with it. The figma features her holding it at her side. As usual, the scale figure comes with no additional parts and features the character locked in a static pose. However, the figma is a posable one with points of articulation at the ankles, needs, hips, waist, torso, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck. The figma will also come with additional face plates. However, it is unknown if it will include an extra hair part.

Here are the two preliminary photos for the two in-progress figures.

These are only two A2 items on the way. A 1/4 version of the character with Cruel Arrogance launches later in 2025. Also, the figma line based on the series already includes 2B.

There’s no word yet on when these two NieR: Automata A2 figures will be released. The game is available on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC. There is also an anime adaptation that is available to stream via Crunchyroll
