20 Game Announcements Made During The 2017 Nindies Summer Showcase

The 2017 Nindies Summer Showcase has come and gone, bringing with it a number of announcements with new trailers, reveals, and release dates. 20 games were discussed during the presentation. Among them were notable names like No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, Super Meat Boy Forever, and Battle Chef Brigade, as well as newer projects like Floor Kids, Morphies Law, and Yono and the Celestial Elephants.

  • Battle Chef Brigade: Holiday 2017 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Dragon: Marked for Death: Winter 2017
  • Earth Atlantis: Autumn 2017 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Floor Kids: Holiday 2017 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Golf Story: September 2017
  • Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition: Early 2018 (Nintendo Switch exclusive and includes all five acts and interludes)
  • Light Fingers: Early 2018 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Mom Hid My Game: Late 2017 (Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch with exclusive stages not in the mobile version)
  • Morphies Law: Winter 2017 (Nintendo Switch console exclusive)
  • Mulaka: Early 2018
  • Next Up Hero: 2018 (Joy-Con co-op mode)
  • Nine Parchments: Holiday 2017
  • No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again: 2018 (Nintendo Switch exclusive)
  • Poly Bridge: Holiday 2017 (Nintendo Switch console exclusive)
  • Sausage Sports Club: Autumn 2017 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Shovel Knight: King of Cards: Early 2018
  • SteamWorld Dig 2: September 21, 2017 (World premiere on Nintendo Switch)
  • Super Meat Boy Forever: 2018 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Wulver Blade: September 2017 (First on Nintendo Switch)
  • Yono and the Celestial Elephants: October 12, 2017 (Nintendo Switch console exclusive)

PAX West 2017 is being held September 1-4, 2017, with the third Nindies@Night event being held ahead of the convention at 8:30 pm PT on August 31, 2017 at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture.
