Missing music in Lumines Plus

Now that Lumines Plus has been released fans have found out that it isn’t a direct port of the PSP game. While most of the songs for Lumines are in the Playstation 2 remix, some vocal songs like “Lights” are missing from the game. Mondo Grosso’s song is replaced with “Circles” from Lumines II. It is a little strange that Lights is missing because Mondo Grosso’s title track Shinin’ is still the first skin in the game. Did the extra tracks cost too much to license? I would have gladly paid an extra $5 to have the complete song list from Lumines.
