Broken drumsticks? An explanation of the Taiko no Tatsujin DS bug

There is a bug in Taiko no Tatsujin DS that breaks the game when you utilize all three save files and dress up Wada Don in all three of them. Namco Bandai plans to replace the broken cartridges in the middle of September, but if you imported the game (like me) you won’t be able to get a replacement Taiko no Tatsujin DS cartridge. On the plus side the game isn’t entirely mucked up, as long as you don’t dress up the little drum in all three files you should be fine.
